Apparently the away allocation at Wembley next year will only be 3000. Spurs taking the piss a bit there in my book...
Either the title of this thread needs changing or we need a new one. All the comments are now about 17-18, not 16-17!
Swansea City's Fernando Llorente has broken his arm while on holiday: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40448715 Sad for him, but at least he'll be back against us on opening day!
I thought it was Chelsea and not Arsenal last time. Still it shows a level of consistency!!! The dream relegation ticket.
Liverpool accused of falsifying document at heart of tapped-up schoolboy case The Liverpool tapping-up scandal was dramatically reignited on Tuesday after they were accused of submitting a “falsified” document to the Premier League when trying to lure a 12-year-old schoolboy from Stoke City. The Anfield club are facing imminent legal action from the unnamed boy, now 13, and his family, having failed to make amends for leaving both him unable to play academy football and his parents in thousands of pounds of debt more than three months after Telegraph Sport first revealed their plight. Father and son completed the document on September 2 last year, three days before the latter began the new school year at his private school, the fees for which Liverpool had agreed to pay until he was 16. The club directed the pair not to date their signatures, an instruction the father ignored to ensure the moment was accurately recorded. The next time the family saw the document - after it had been submitted to the Premier League - all the signatures on it were dated September 21, including the father’s, beneath which a ‘1’ had been inserted after his initial ‘2’. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/...-heart-tapped/
Yes, I saw this too. I don't quite know where they get the gall to do it. I also think Saints should press the Premier League for some action against Liverpool over VVD. They are desperately trying to rekindle a possible transfer by any means fair or foul, with foul quite obviously taking the front stage at this moment. I see that twerp Redknapp [the young one] saying that it isn't dead, which astonishes me as I would have thougt at least he would have appeared to tread the neutral road. But no. Liverpool's chatter machine rolls on unhindered. This is where I think Saints are a tad naive. They ought to be running roughshod all over this stuff, instead of staying aloof.
Just keep on repeating it, because people [in this case, the Liverpool media chatter machinery] make a habit of forgetting when it suits them.
