Be interesting to see how he does there. With a full Summer to shape his own squad will a better way to judge him than at Hull.
We're all laughing like hell.... ambition ... ambition to see if he can keep another team up... Hero to Zero in 3 days. Porto we could see, Palace we could see, Saints we could definitely see, but Watford FFS... he'll be looking for another job this time next year or earlier..
Watford have a decent side, be interested to see how he does there. He has the added bonus of Jorge Mendes so should be able to add some quality to their squad aswell
The reason the Porto thing fell through was, had he joined them he personally would have had to pay his previous employer who detailed 3 clubs in his contract he couldn't go to within a given time frame £1 million. Porto wouldn't pay it and were under a FFP embargo, or so the story goes..
A quick glance at the PL table. Does anyone think that it may have been a particularly boring season for all but top 6 and bottom 3? 6pts between 8th and 17th, massive gulf between 8th and top 6? The cartel is back, making for an uninteresting PL. the only exception being spurs, who I can't like because Levy is a c£&t
To be fair it's just a Spurs fans taking the piss. They have more than enough to be worried about, such as embarrassing themselves at the home of football.
Poor decision in my book, the FA Cup doesn't paper over the cracks that much, they need a new manager. Imagine the fans if they get off to a poor start next season?
Arsenal fan TV going to be glorious, bet that fat bloke who runs it is loving this. Must be the one Arsenal fan who is delighted when they lose
I reckon the two year extension is merely to stop the media hassling him next season. A lesser man would probably have decked a few journos by now.
Not sure. They're never going to sack him, so it's another 2 years unless Arsene himself decides to step down. Can anyone see that?
I can see him in several years time resembling the corpse mother from Psycho. He'll probably be dead two years before they sack him.
He'll probably be dead two years before they sack him. That's very good. You want to pop that on the Arsenal forum. I'm sure they'd see the funny side.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40125394 Saints got £122,450,841 from the Premier League last season apparently. Link shows a table for all the clubs.
