So Tony Blair gave £1m to an ISIS supporter who it seems promptly gave it to ISIS?

Shouldn't he now be given an Orange Jumpsuit and be hosted at Guantanamo Bay by the Americans?

If your rich @AllHellLetLoose and have **** on almost every other politician, you get away with it. Like he got away with Iraq.

Turns out that the deal was negotiated by a Conservative government in 2010. Maybe Drumpf needs to start looking at the fake news over here.

So far this year, 8 Labour Party members in Orpington have resigned from the party. 2 did not give their reasons, but the other 6 all left because of Jeremy Corbyn's leadership, particularly over Brexit. After last night's debacle he is determined to carry on. His theory is that his army of Corbynistas will knock on doors and persuade the electorate to sweep him to power in 2020. The fact is that the Corbynistas don't do any of the dirty work, it's left to old moderates like me to go out delivering leaflets etc. It would take a braver man than me to try and persuade anyone to vote for Corbyn. The fact that a recent opinion poll shows the electorate trusts the Conservative leader more than the Labour leader on the NHS says it all

In my experience the overwhelming majority of people only think about politics once every 5 years, and even then often on Polling Day itself. Again in my experience (31 years in the game), these apolitical people don't look at the policies but the candidates to be Prime Minister. I don't know anybody on any side in politics who thinks that Teresa May v Jeremy Corbyn in 2020 is going to result in anything other than a political bloodbath for Labour which will take them a political generation to recover from. So you are talking 2030-35.

Even before you consider Corbyn's palpable unsuitability to be PM, factor in two other issues. The boundary changes in 2018 will cost Labour another 25 seats. And when the time comes, the Right Wing press are going to absolutely smash him to pieces for all his previous comments about Hamas, the IRA and the Monarchy etc.

Quote from a Labour MP I know this week about Corbyn-

"He is not a politician, he is a protester".

If Corbyn fights the next election, Labour will do well to come out of it as the main party of opposition, and I'm certainly not taking this for granted. I get fed up hearing his supporters like John McDonnell saying what a nice decent man he is. The fact is he's a selfish bastard, otherwise he'd stand down as leader. His leadership makes Michael Foot look Churchillian.

The Prime Ministers observations on the Scot-Nats will stir things up both sides of the Tweed. I assume this is deliberate, since she's not stupid.

Just came across an old news bulletin on the left-wing BBC. Tony Blair and left-wing George W Bush were pontificating about the need for coalition forces to stay in Iraq until the job was done, as this would be a major defeat for terrorism. No mention of WMD's though.

What has happened to the bear-pit that PMQ's used to be? We've got a robotic PM, a lame-duck opposition leader, and boring leaders of the Lib-dems and the SNP. I preferred the bear-pit, with the speaker screaming for order.

Jeremy Corbyn- man of principle my arse. If he had any decency he'd step down. Another open goal missed, but what does he care.

So an MP's job can be done on a part-time basis? So why are they paid £75,000 plus pension plus expenses?

Jeremy Corbyn works a 4-day week, and if he has to work weekends, eg to do an Andrew Marr interview, he takes a weekday off in lieu.
