The topic being discussed was a briefing of selected, friendly-to-the-regime press people that certain more-critical-of-the-regime press people were not permitted to attend, held by the Press representative of the President. Did that happen or not?

These people peddle actual Fake News, but were no doubt invited to the briefing that the BBC and CNN were excluded from.

Troller, why cant you just say you made a mistake?
Why is it impossible for some people to post something that's just wrong on here and refuse to admit they made a mistake. Its no big deal, we all do it at some time in our life. If you say you were wrong people look at you much better than if you fudge and squirm.

Sir John Major has been showing why he is the only decent Prime Minister we've had in the last 35 years, by talking a lot of sense tonight.

Especially with his comments on Northern Ireland and our future dependence on a new unreliable and insular US president.

I suspect the papers will concentrate on him saying the British people are being sold unreasonable prospects with brexit - that's probably up for debate, but he's spot on about how Brexit cheerleaders have disregarded those that voted Remain.

As if to show his point, that upper class twit Rees-Mogg then pops up with a bitter little attack on him for supporting Remain, rather than answer his points.
