    update for chris;

    Liverpool v Reading (3pm)
    Referee: R East
    Assistants: A Garratt, R West
    Fourth Official: K Friend

    anyone got any thought son this east/west collaboration to ref our game?

    in his last two prem games he's sent guys off fulahm v west brom and swansea v sunderland.

    Odemwingie kicked out at Riether in the fulham game and it was a stonewall red, he sent cicho off for a high lunge at saha despite the being little contact.

    A win. A big win this week.

    Arsenal were in a similar position at this point last season to our current one, but this was the week they set on their course for a a run of 8 matches unbeaten and a CL qualifying postition at the end of the season.

    Saying that, if we fail to give Reading a right good walloping on Saturday, then we should be lucky if we better our final league position of last year.

    Surely we deserve som look in front of goal, would like to see more of Assaidi,suspect he will be the bench again

    I think the main decision BR has gotta make is Sahin or Shelvey ( after suspension), v tough call IMO, think JJ may just nick it, possibly may even rest Gerrard

    good point on decisions. sahin v shevely after sahin's showing v stoke. Assiadi i cannot see playing from the start, I think rodgers will go for the same team line up somehow after the last day.

    If we want Gerrard to last the season then he needs to be rested at some point. This could be a good opportunity but would leave us with a very, very young starting 11.

    It would be I would rather have an amped up Gerrard for Everton where we know he can shine and give a hungry youngster a chance. I can see Downing, SUarez, and Assaidi as the front three to add some more experience to the side in the final third.

    who do you drop out of suso sterling and suarez... the boss has picked them a couple game sin a row yeah? suso was good v stoke but taken off tired and stelring stayed on despite being laughed at by stoke. yesil has to learn the language, find the tactical style of play required and settle in, we need options on the bench sure but lets see.
