Even if it's been a bit tough for us this season there is always Luton to just remind you how low you can get.. Totally blew that! How many Blackpool fans will go? They are boycotting the home games.
Such a sad sad day anther year that we will not see the MAD ones lose in a final . O well bring on next season we could see them go down .
Before you say things like that, look at our away record against the relegated sides - lost 2 out of 3 and the only goal was the winner at Boro. On the flip side, we picked up 7 points against them at home without conceding but both wins were 1-0.
But even we didn't lose 6-1 at home against Spurs - which was entirely my point. 4-1 isn't as embarrassing as 6-1...
Promotion battle in French Ligue 2 was certainly what you call tight! http://us.soccerway.com/national/france/ligue-2/20162017/regular-season/r35875/ Amiens scored a 96th minute winner to earn promotion - they were 6th until that point.. Very dramatic..
Cristian Battocchio scored twice for Brest in a 6-2 win, but couldn't help them win promotion - an alarming mid-season slump meant they missed out after leading the table for a long while.
Well just watched my Cadiz vs Cordoba. Our 6th 1-1 in 8 games. Slowly the play-offs are at risk. But three games still to go here - last game 11th June and then the play-offs hopefully. Would love to see Barca and Real here.
Jon 'The Beast' Parkin has given York a bit of silverware to go with their relegation from the national league. Big lad - and getting on a bit too.
Just watching Real Madrid probably wrap up the title - http://www.usagoals.co/c/football/2062063/2/malaga-cf-vs-real-madrid-live-stream/ Mexican Semi-finals on later too, given it is 35 degrees here, need to stay inside...
We may have had a bad end to the season, but just be glad that you don't support Orient, their season isn't over until after the winding-up hearing which is supposed to be on 12th June. I think that there are 3 possibilities: 1. Their owner pays all their creditors before then and they start next season as if they'd had a "normal" relegation 2. They go into administration and suffer the necessary points deduction. 3. They are wound up and a "phoenix" club at the bottom of the pyramid is formed - apparently their fans trust already has £100k for this possibility I admit that my knowledge of these type of legal matters is minimal, so I may have completely missed something.
