Fiendishly good piece from Melissa Rudd and apologies if posted before. http://www.pinkun.com/opinion/norwi..._time_to_see_some_strong_leadership_1_4958758
Thanks Cromer - I saw the one she wrote today and that was equally hard hitting. Only got in a little while ago and I'm still in a bit of shock - we've agreed compo with Huddersfield??? I expected the saga to drag on until all theEaster eggs had been scoffed. We'll be hearing who the new HC is any day now I expect!!!
Mentioned on post #116 on http://www.not606.com/threads/summer-transfer-2017.345065/page-6. Couldn't find this thread. I think he might be OK, on the proviso that he doesn't offer a new contract to Lafferty!!!!
Allegedly, Michael O'Neill is having preliminary talks with City about becoming our HC. What is it with our board and the name "Neil(l)"?
Archant running another of their (pointless) polls to gauge reaction to our current HC vacancy. The result so far surprised me http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...y-appoint-as-head-coach-this-summer-1-4998690
Michael O'Neill has also been the manager of Brechin City and Shamrock Rovers. How on earth is this going to give him the experience of getting an EFL Championship side promoted to The Premiership? Yes, he has been successful with a small national side, but I cannot begin to believe that he would be successful with Norwich City. Is this another example of going for the cheap option? SURELY there must be somebody out there who has a proven track record at least at Championship level? Does anybody know of somebody of experience who is currently available in terms of not having a club to manage?
