and if he had everyone would have moaned that he should keep his nose out of footballing matters, an area in which he has no real knowledge.
You certainly have FML - have you got your tickets for next Friday???? Blimey - this is a bit of a surprise if true - http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/03/2...rnsleys-paul-heckingbottom-as-their-n/page/1/. I'll reserve judgement on this one, but looks like the 'cheap option' again!!!!
Because the new sporting director, or DOF will need to have a huge say in the final decision - and he's not officially been appointed / unveiled yet.
So, it only seems a 'matter of time' before Stuart Webber is unveiled as our SD and then our 'illustrious' board along with the SD will choose our new HC, but AI has been confirmed as the 'gaffer' for our trip to Villa Park next Saturday. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/norwich-city-swoop-to-poach-highly-rated-man-from-huddersfield/
Like I said b4, I would hope that the interviews would have included thoughts about who best as HC and a bloody good 5 year plan. So I ask, have we got a new head coach yet? Bah!
Permission to speak freely sir. I'm relieved we are getting (or appear to be getting) the DoF sorted out before the HC. Surely the DoF will be instrumental in choosing the HC. That's a salute obviously. That's a dancing badger.
That is precisely what I'm saying but I just think that in at least one interview he should have been setting out a strategy proposal, including his thoughts on the best available or currently unavailable candidates. So now the decision to appoint him has been made, the board can already have started the HC recruitment. I realise that this involves forward thinking and that is very probably beyond our board. Have we got a new HC yet? Bah!
But the DoF has NOT been confirmed yet, who knows what might happen until such time as the contract is signed? This has been a problem in the past where impatient fans want the board to sign someone post haste! Patience, my friends, patience!
SD = Sports Director (I believe just waiting confirmation of Stuart Webber from Huddersfield) and HC = Head Coach/manager/gaffer whatever!!!
