This banner, if it's as has been suggested, is completely inappropriate, and if the idea is to take the mickey out of young Bradley, it definately does the job :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Whoever decided to word it like this has reached a new level of abuse that I just can't understand :emoticon-0145-shake

Relationships between us have greatly improved over the last few years, partly (a big part) because of the 'plane crash mentioned earlier, and this (if it happens as planned) highlights the lengths that some would go to to destroy the good will that has been highly prevalent lately <doh>

Mickey taking banter is healthy, but that's not what this is, and I hope that if it does happen the media 'jumps on it' and highlights the idiocy and hatred of what is a very small minority of people.

I also hope that Bradley's family don't see it, but if they do, that Bradley doesn't understand :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Bradleys family think it's a lovely idea.

Don't care about your club or the banner. Quite like some folk on here though. There's a difference.

    I hope not, Hatty . . . . I'm hoping that it's just stupidity, or a simple lack of understanding :emoticon-0112-wonde

The opposite way "Divided by leagues, but united by cancer" would have been much better . . . . and appropriate (the way that most people feel) :emoticon-0148-yes:

Personally think the banner is fine, it has the right mix of love of Bradley and other fighting that awful disease and a little north east banter which we dished out too last year. With a lot of money also raised for charity I think it's good all round.

Given how universally opposed Newcastle fans have been towards this it makes me suspect more than ever the winning votes were cast for sick reasons by a minority of morons.

There's a Moral in the is for anybody organisation such things. Online polls attract idiots, it's not a way to measure accurate opinion. Given the British public voted to name a vessel Boaty McBoatface should tell us all we need to know. Maybe next time the orgainiser should create the time to gather opinion properly and to have the balls to make the call himself.

Bradley's family aren't offended, it was an act of revenge that ended up bringing in 6k for charity. You're only one I see bitching like you're trying to open a ****ing inquest.
And we're not universally opposed, where do you get your facts from? Somb's comments? Half the Sunderland fans on this board aren't even opposed
I'm not offended because it actually did good for charity when it wasn't meant to and that's the relevance, but surprise surprise this particular Sunderland fan wants to harp on about every negative aspect he can desperately find.
Apparently we should have said **** charity, **** Lowery, let's put a comment saying "mackems r ****s"
    For BANTZ
