Best golf tournament of the year,

Who do you think will win? **** off am I doing a poll.

I put a bet on Brandt Snedeker but I have a feeling it will be either Rory or Tiger.

    Should be a good tournament!

Everyone is coming into it in some good form with Tiger having won recently and players like Hunter Mahan & Luke Donald looking good.

Can't rule out Mickelson either. Could be worth a punt at 12/1 with Bet365. He knows what he's doing round Augusta.

I must admit I do love it.Fantastic golf course.

It isn't,however, the best major because it is ostensibly an invitational with only 96 odd players.

The real majors have 156 runners.

I normally favour a good putter and big hitter (easy!) who can reach the par 5's with a high flighted ball .Tonights rain will have major bearing on that.Soft greens.

PM,RMCI and TW are prime candidates although,at the moment, all are far from stable with the old short (can't really use that term anymore) stick.

I like Donald who could do a Zach Johnson job with his fabulous wedge game. Also interesting is last years winner,Charl S,who is long with a high ball flight and is an excellent putter.Justin Rose has led this (think!) twice after rd1 but not sure he can move the ball left to right on demand.

    I hope Woods wins.

I don't give a crap about his private life.

    I appreciate excellence.

Interesting to hear Greg Norman cite Tom Watson as the best player of all time.

Decent argument..especially if he had of won the open at aged 59...so close..nearly cried that day even thought he was beaten by a great guy.

    First eagle goes to Harrington.

    Got it at the second.

    Tiger even par through two.

Very good considering he hooked his tee shot on the first and second. He had to take a penalty at the second so a good start from Tiger.

Lawrie has had an incredible back 9, shame he dropped a shot on the 18th.

Good round from Westwood, though I very much doubt he will be able to hold his nerve with the putter come Sunday. I still think McIlroy will win it

I really would like to see Westwood win. His round was quality yesterday and he missed chances to make it better.

Westwood has the talent, but he's a choker, just like Monty. He will fall to pieces if he's leading on Sunday, just as he did 2 years ago:biggrin:

He didn't really fall to pieces, Mickelson played some inspirational golf where he decided to attack every flag and he pulled it off. Westwood that day played safe and hoped Phil would **** it up but he didn't.

    Quality from Oosthuizen!

Plays an absolute quality shot at the Par 5 2nd! An Albatross to move himself to -10 and now in the lead.

    Lovely shot!

A hole in one from Adam Scott at the 16th moves him to -3.

    Oh dear...

Mickelson hits his tee shot at the 4th way left and he's in trouble.
