Unbelievable, the club stand by him when he is banned for taking drugs and the throws it back in their face, if this isn't just paper talk he is going to regret saying this. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/536154498?-1808
If Kolo wants to go then let him go. However he must be told that he is not going anywhere until we have brought in a replacement for him. Also if he wants to go he has to make himself available to fly to Paris should the need arise, if that means that he can't go to the AFC comp., then so be it. It dosesn't matter who the player is, no player can dictate to the manager, that he should play more games then another player. If that is Kolo's thinking then, either he knuckles down and proves that he deservers to play before Lescott, or he puts in a transfer request.

Adebayor has been a big hit at Spurs since signing from Manchester City on a season-long loan. The 27-year-old has performed well in the target-man role and has bagged a healthy return of seven goals in 11 matches to move his new club up to third in the Premier League. There had been fears that Adebayor would prove to be a disruptive influence at White Hart Lane, but Redknapp has so far managed to keep the charismatic hitman happy and even the fans have warmed to him despite his history with Arsenal. Redknapp admits it would be difficult to persuade the Togo striker to take a pay cut given that he is on around £170,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium, but he is still determined to sign the player on a permanent basis after being impressed with the start he has made. "I would like him here full-time. It would be difficult, but we like him," Redknapp said. "He's done great for us. He gives us loads of movement when he plays, and he's a real handful." Some had questioned the wisdom of signing Adebayor given his colourful past, but Redknapp has had no problems with the former Real Madrid forward. "I've enjoyed having him here. He's been as good as gold. He's not been a minute's problem," Redknapp said. "He just gets on with it. He's an important player for us and he knows that. He's been here 11 games and we've won 10 and drawn one so you certainly can't complain about the start he's had here. "He's lively. He comes in every day, he enjoys his training and looks like he enjoys being here so it's good. "I've just been talking to him, telling him how well I think he's done for us and what a key player he is for the team, and we all love that, we all love a pat on the back." http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/537684552?-1808
The problem with the A.C. Milan bid is that they expect us to let them have Carlos on loan, without paying a penny to have him on loan. I think that RM is doing the right thing and saying that if you want Carlos you will have to buy him outright. However where I differ from RM is that I would allow Carlos to go out on loan, subject to a suitable loan fee being agreeable between City and any club that is willing to take Carlos on loan, and they take on all of his wages as well.
Its a pity Paris Saint-Germain have decided to end their interest as it may have pushed A.C.Milan into doing something they were not too keen on. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/539959201?-1808
Arsene Wenger is contemplating a loan move for Manchester City's out-of-favour 31-year-old defender Wayne Bridge, despite denying having made an approach for the left-backin his pre-match news conference on Friday. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nry-Wayne-Bridge-Arsenals-Christmas-list.html
Now that the transfer window has opened. It will be interesting to see what happens with Carlos Tevez, i expect him to go somewhere towards the end of the month. However with Pato according to the papers falling out with his manager, it maybe interesting to see whether they offfer him in exchange for Carlos. The important thing is that the manager is able to sell the players, he finds no longer good enough for his squad. The question to ask is if the playersthat he wants to sell like Bridge and Onuha will he bring in any replacements for them. The questin RM has to ask himself is, have I a player to replace Yaya while he is away playing in the ACN cup in Africa. if not who would fit the bill to bring in even if it is only on loan.
Manchester City's first signing of the transfer window could be Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi. Manager Roberto Mancini is keen to recruit the 28-year-old Italy international but the deal could depend on whether City can sell unsettled striker Carlos Tevez. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-news-Daniele-de-Rossi-set-for-City-move.html
Manchester City are believed to be planning a swoop for Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi - but only if striker Carlos Tevez leaves Etihad before the end of January. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...y-for-roma-midfielder-to-join-manchester-city
Liverpool and Manchester City face a battle to sign highly rated 17-year-old Birmingham forward Nathan Redmond. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view...Manchester-City-battle-for-Birmingham-starlet
Ignoring the rooney rumors here is something more believable - Manchester City are weighing up a move to recruit Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote from Newcastle, pipping rivals Manchester United and Chelsea. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...ewcastle-star-Cheick-Tiote-article850250.html
No chance. Tiote is amazing at breaking opponents play but useless with the ball himself... Wouldn't fit our team at all.
I'd like a pacey winger such as Lavezzi. AJ has a good shot, but not that quick or skilful. Against Sunderland last week for example, AJ couldn't outpace or beat Colback who was a young LM playing out of position at LB, which is criminal really. A winger playing for a team aiming to win the title should be capable of beating a LB who isn't even a LB. Lavezzi would have done the job, and there are a couple of other wingers we could go for, but I think Lavezzi is the most realistic. Shame we couldn't get Pedro in the summer.
Tevez future remains up in the air. The future of Carlos Tevez has been thrown into more confusion after talks between AC Milan and Manchester City officials broke up without reaching agreement just hours after Inter Milan withdrew from the race to sign the South American. Tevez is still in Argentina, having effectively concluded he has no future at City since the furore over his non-appearance during that infamous Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September. Inter and Paris St Germain had both expressed an interest in signing Tevez but AC Milan have been front-runners for some considerable time. It seemed a matter of when rather than if a deal would eventually be done, although hopes of a speedy resolution were dashed when City refused to yield from their present position of being unwilling to entertain any kind of loan for the 27-year-old. However, with further negotiations planned for Thursday afternoon in London, when asked if Tevez will join AC Milan, Inter president Massimo Moratti said on the club's official website, www.inter.it: "I believe so. That's football." But within hours, the London talks had ended amid reports that a deal between Milan and City was off. As Blues officials have strongly countered, it was impossible for a deal to be off because there was never actually one in place to start with. Indeed, City have been left bewildered by the whole process which, as far as they can see, is fairly straightforward. With no loan moves being entertained, a stance unlikely to change at present, the club will happily talk to any suitor willing to offer what they view as a fair market value for one of the world's best forwards. Evidently, Tevez's present status has not done much for his valuation. However, as he is tied to a contract that does not expire until 2014, City believe they have plenty of power, even if efforts to get Tevez back to Manchester will not be increased until the transfer window has closed. Despite Thursday's developments, it would be a major surprise if Tevez was still a City player at that point. As City found out during their failed attempts to sign Brazilian superstar Kaka from the Serie A giants three years ago, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is an astute footballing politician. Having placed such store by trying to attract Tevez to the club, Galliani is unlikely to just give up when there is so much time left to do a deal. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/543515393?-1808

Juventus to rock Man City with £36M mega bid for Dzeko, Kolarov The Daily Star Sunday says the Italian giants are ready to pay £22m for Bosnian striker Dzeko, 25, and £14m for Serbia’s left-back Kolarov, 26. It’s role reversal for City, who are usually the ones with the big money chasing other clubs’ expensive players. But Italian giants Juve are ready to pay £22m for Bosnia striker Dzeko, 25, who they wanted before he left Wolfsburg for Manchester. And they are lining up a £14m offer for Serbia’s left-back Kolarov, 26. Kolarov’s agent, Sergio Berti, has been in contact with representatives of the Turin club. The double deal is planned for the summer, rather than this month's transfer window. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/543954046?-1808
