It seems to be an exercise in how many average Welsh players can be shoehorned into the squad so probably not.
Looking forward to it, though with no expectations of a win in the Tests. I doubt the The Lions would be as strong as as Eddie Jones's English Team at present.
A cracking thread there Kiwi, well done mate. Have you 'gone native' yet?... Most of their domestic teams would be capable of beating most Six Nations teams so I'll be surprised if we reach the First Test unbeaten particularly as Gatland will almost certainly be running two separate teams in the run-up. Would be a major surprise if we even win one of the tests...
Nice one Kiwi. I will be following with great interest but low hopes looking at that squad and the management team. I think we will see a lot of the Welsh team starting and am sure that Sexton will pick up a head injury/concussion early on.
I thought this thread was referring to this prospect - we'll have to wait until next Sat for that. If those Lions prevail we'll have this sort of thing to look forward to next season, minus Redknapp, although I'm sure Holloway would be quite animated if that happened to him. Ironic after that incident how we managed to blow our lead late in that game.
Looking forward to it immensely although with low expectations on the result. Was thinking of nipping over for the first test - quite a few I know heading there just for the hell of it. Got to a test and a couple of midweeks during the last series, brilliant atmosphere and Lions tourists are great to mix with. All Blacks should be too strong no matter who gets put on for the tests... expect a brutal first test with plenty of bruising hits (some may be tackles) and 3-0 ABs.
I will be watching in hope rather than expectation (a situation I am not unfamiliar with). We might nick 1 of the tests but the ABs will be too strong for this squad.
