Tell you what Quents ... perhaps you could just give us a time span now? ... if we are don't get relegated in the next 3 seasons and Spurs haven't won the title by then, it seems pretty obvious that we will have been more successful than Spurs in the 5 years that you have had the thread running ... wouldn't you say? ... then you can just admit to having fcuked up and start a new thread about Spurs 'glory years' or something (with no time frame obviously )

 

You might have to give Spurs a bit more time than 2 years to actually win the League (they have been failing to do so for the last 55 years), but if you can't wait then just be happy to know that Leicester City have been more successful than Spurs have been for over half a century!

Yes, LCFC are sitting just one spot above the relegation zone, but I think it is too early to start a "LCFC Relegation" thread, and anyone who does would be an ignoramus.

That said, I think all of this goes to underline just how devastatingly prescient this thread was, what with me predicting the spiral at a time when Leicester were riding high.

A lot of you have already congratulated me on this, but there are still a few - mainly Foxes - who have not yet found themselves able to summon up the humility to do so. Bury your pride lads, and admit I was right. As Mousers have found, doing so is extremely cathartic.

I assume if following 2 defeats back to back (against Man U and chelsea, good sides) is worthy of that post he will achknowledge that he was premature if we were to say win the next two in a row and be back mid table in the albeit early standings

 

Isn't it ironic for the first time in three weeks Spurs haven't nonced it up Bell isn't on business abroad?

 

It's alright, they're back at 'home' at Wembley twice this week against the powerhouses Dortmund and Swansea so we'll not hear a peep
