Pretty crap day for Villa! Oh well! Harsh one for Hogan though. I've been there. Only difference is I was pished and getting off a bus. They hurt!
About the best game I've seen both Dummy and Colback have in a while. Coincidence? Or ard Villa really just THAT poor even those two look decent?
We where crap first half. Got two scabby goals and they threw in the towel. Thought mitro made the difference tbh. He ran his socks off and held the ball up well.
Do we have aN option to buy in summer? Sounds like he is one who could improve and be a real asset in Premier League, if we go up.
It's the result that matters and it was a decent result. Thank **** it was Villa we were up against though with that first half performance. We were ****. Much better second half. Let's hope they have finally woken up.
A win is a win, as they say. Poor performance, but we were playing the worst team in the division right now and it was fairly simple. Colback needs to be well out of the team, Yedlin needs to be far more defensively minded, Atsu needs to start, and Shelvey needs to casually stop stroking 50 years passes off field.
Lots of big games coming up over the next few weeks with top 6 teams playing each other. Going to be an interesting month.
It's going to be a tough run for us, but it's also a great opportunity. This is the one time we can actually stop the play off teams from chalking up a win.
Colback was absolutely awful. I never think Dummy does that badly. He was solid enough again. Just he is about as boring a LB as you can get!
When it comes to defenders I'll take boring any day of the week. They've given us way too much excitement over recent seasons.
