You've listed a lot of decent teams there fella. Times have changed a lot since some of those were poor teams.
It was the annual 6pts from you lot that's kept us up for the past 3 seasons. Well done on your promotion..... Fat Mike + Richie + Gayle ensured you limped over the line
Didn't take long to start: Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez must be given money to improve the team before their Premier League return next season, says club legend Alan Shearer. Benitez spent over £50m last summer after relegation, but Shearer says there is a risk of losing the Spaniard if he is not backed financially.
Friends, i've decided to come to your last home game to show some support. What's the parking like at the stadium of plight? If I only make it for the 2nd half, shouldn't be a problem right?
You could park it in the middle of the sunderland defence, there's always plenty of open spaces there
They also spend similar amounts this season as: Leicester Arsenal West Ham Liverpool Everton And way more than: Spurs Stoke Soton Watford WBA Congrats at buying second in the Championship.
"Newcastle spent almost twice as much as any club in championship history".....actually they didn't, Aston Villa spent more than us this season. I love ridiculous bias stats, like the way that graph ignores the spend in the rest of the division, ignores the fact that teams like Middlesborough spent big over other seasons to build their promotion teams, and above all ignores sales and overall profit, which would actually show we made the most profit in the division in terms of transfers. Statistics aren't Big Chris Holt's strength it would seem.
Thats a big sum for the Championship but any owner in that league would hand that out if it guaranteed promotion, bringing in a £160m pay packet is the worst case scenario. They did buy some crap players mind, I reckon Rafa will be looking at offloading most of them already.
