Was anyone aware that we played Rangers at the Vic a few weeks back? I've not been on the site much so I may have missed any comments about it,so sorry if old news. https://rangers.co.uk/news/match-report/friendly-watford-1-2-rangers/ My old boss alerted me to it as he is a Rangers fan - disappointing result if we can't beat any Scottish team (gubbed he said, so took it on the chin!).
It was a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney - one of those games where 20 players were given a run out - also Pereyra's return from injury with a 20 minute second half appearance.
Morning all, very cloudy and a few showers about. Mme now gets her UK council pension paid by an American bank, and has to go to our local post office to prove who she is. It is a very small post office only open from 9-12 and she is hoping that they know that they are an agent for the American bank. It should be fun if they don't. Still she is getting paid £10 in euros for her trouble.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/128...aked_and_screaming_has_his_testicles_removed/ Justice seen to be done really - perhaps this should happen to all sex offenders? I do like the medical term for this - orchidectomy. Although I'm sure orchid lovers will disagree.

Thanks BB, that's a wonderful image for me to go to bed with! OK you lovely people, I'm off to bed! Night all Night H
Morning all, sunshine and showers forecast for today. We did have a little rain yesterday afternoon, but nothing like I witnessed in London last night. The tractor with the road sweeping brushes has just come past the house again preparing the road for the annual cycle race Monday. The hedge cutter had been along yesterday spreading bits of branch all over the place, so it all had to be cleared up before the narrow tyres of the bikes come round. Have a good day whatever is planned.
Morning all. I have found something for you to read while tucking in to your full English breakfast. Even if you only have something lighter you will still probably enjoy a few moments reading about one of our players. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ings-with-watford-limbo-chelsea-a7886941.html
Worked for me. What a splendid insight into the man. After going to Napoli he could hold a fluent conversation in Italian after only 6 months having not spoken a word of the language when he arrived. Maybe he can teach other members of our sqad a thing or two. I have great hopes for this player.
I posted the club information on security at the games in the Match Thread. I doubt that I will do it again, but thought it right to do so at the start of the season. Even our commune has had to employ additional security for our fete on Tuesday and we are tiny by comparison with a town the size of Watford. Wherever you are it is sensible to be aware that the unexpected could happen.
