How very strange. As I drove back from a shopping trip this afternoon, I was reminded of the old saying, "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out." The blossom is now out, so I wondered if the thermals could be put away, but when I came home found out the true meaning of the saying.
9.30 pm here Dave, and it is dusk. There is still a golden glow in the sky above the hills in the west. Probably time to close the shutters and put the TV on. There must be something apart from elections worth watching.
I had a huge scare today and need to calm down in bed. A friend took me shopping to Morrisons, FarmFoods and Lidl this morning and when I got home I had lost my phone. PANIC, I don't know any phone numbers that are on my phone, I rang it 5 times and got no response! I finally phoned FarmFoods and they had it! Phew, what a relief!
Good morning from a sunny Jersey. I'm off work because I was feeling dizzy as I had less than 3 hours sleep last night. I would probably still have gone in if I didn't have epilepsy, but it's not worth the risk. I've had a nap, so I'm feeling better. As long as I take things relatively easy today, then get a decent amount of sleep tonight, I should be OK to go back to work tomorrow.
Evening all, it is only three weeks before I go on holiday, so there is loads of estate work to be done in preparation. The sun keeps shining, so already the watering is underway, but we might see some showers in the middle of next week which will stop the need for that.
Good day.. Good news for yorkie... my stolen lawnmower has turned up in the 'wild garden' of my reclusive neighbour....
