Morning all, another beautiful day here, just great for getting out. The only problem is that this afternoon there are a couple of rugby internationals on TV and tomorrow is not so promising. Better get out there doing something I think.
Evening all, been rather grey, but the rain forecast for 2.00 pm has gone missing. My English neighbour started the grass cutting today, something I am putting off. My French neighbour has gone to the USA where he has a home. Told me before he left that he was taking some medication with him to try and calm Trump down a bit.
I was able to reply to it - however, the heading of the email was "Urgent" but when I didn't reply to the last email I received, I wasn't chased for the money. There is a JSA committee meeting this evening, so I'll find out if it really was her or not. If it was, I'm going to get an earful...
Morning all from a cloudy island. Back to work today after a week off - dread to think how many emails I'll be going back to and there could be chaos in relation to one of my clients based in Luxembourg as the bank are changing their accounts today due to them (the bank) re-branding.
Morning all. Not sure where it has come from, but it is foggy at present. Mme belongs to a local association designed to bring the French and English together. Every year they put on a meal when us males get a chance to join in, and today is that day. The local dialects do vary quite a lot, so it depends who you are sat next to on how much effort you have to put into working out what is being said. Often the best idea is to put another mouthful of food in while you think of a response.
Waiting for tradesmen to come round after chasing them up for the quote, honestly, it´s like they don´t want the $ and I´m hassling them into it.
