Not read about it in the French press, but there has been a lot of concern over drones flying around Paris, something that is illegal. There have been discussions about who can operate them for legal photographic reasons, with the possibility of very restrictive laws being introduced. Break the law on this one and you can spend a year in jail, or face a €75,000 fine. One concern is over them flying near to the airports, with the chance of them bringing down aircraft into the cities, also them going out of control and injuring people. I suspect that there are more sinister reasons behind the ban than these, but the story does sound possible as owls have been trained to chase smaller birds off runways and there is a large falconry network here.

What a great report. The story of Pat Molloy struck a cord with me. He seemed to be there for so many years, in fact he was. Pat Molloy died at the age of 83 Monday, February 22, 1993 Prior to joining Watford, he had run away from home to join the King's Royal Rifles, became a fairground boxer, joined Bomber Command during World War Two, qualified as a carpenter whilst playing wing-half for a string of clubs, and managed the Turkish national side. He had subsequently spent 41 years as a much valued member of the training staff at Vicarage Road.
Morning all, a rather grey day here, but none of the storms predicted for the UK seem to have spread this far south. Hope you all keep safe if it is bad.
My wall signed team picture of 69/70 has pat front row and that would have made him 69/70 im sure he would have left when Ken Furphy moved to Sheff utd
