Clearly the occasion and the player who scored matters though.

Why else would that not win?

Great control and finish but not the best by a long chalk.

It takes a damn sight more skill than the goal that won it.

Nah I think that was a keeper error. Always detracts from the goal when someone is at fault.

The perfect goal is where nothing could be done to prevent it IMO. It's why I'm not too keep on the Bergkamp one. Dabizas does everything wrong.

agree on the Beckham one, but not Bergkamp, he shields the ball from view and does the sublime flick around the outside while pulling the defence the wrong way with his movement.

A good defender stops the Bergkamp one though.

    Any one of these....

It's an absolute farce that Le God wasn't nominated in the catagories for the BBC all time XI of the PL and just goes to show the bias against "smaller" clubs.

Drogba scored a few like, that one against Everton was sick. Was that in the league?

And the twisting half-volley against Liverpool.

    He was some player.

    Dabizas gets too tight.

Bergkamp can roll anyone. Dabizas surely knows that if he turns it's going to be a goal so he should have stood a yard off him then tackle him face up.

Bergkamp would have just flicked it over his head if Dabizas stood off him <whistle>
