Is the pool being used to keep the beer cool?

Mines usually filled with kids and beers! The kids don't mind the occasional can denting into their side.

Went to buy one of these this morning. No where sells them.

We have ended up making on using tarpaulin on the washing line hooking it into the kitchen window.

Bear grylls has got **** all on me.

 

My garden does resemble a shanty town now..

I just hosed myself down in the garden and inadvertently sprayed water on the old miserable cow over the fence. Just been given a dressing down by a 70 year old.

 

Just back from a day out for my daughter's 4th birthday. Drove up to a pub on the beach and then onto the aquarium. It is absolutely roasting down here today. I saw all shades of pink bodies on the beach earlier. Me, I love the sun, but I was playing it cool sitting under a palm frond beach hut, with an ice cold soda and lime.

Took the whole family out today, both sets of grandparents and my mum's cousin and his wife, the crumblies were struggling in the sunshine, and my old man who has dementia kept needing to be reminded to drink water all day long.

Was ****ing hard work trying to keep one eye on my old man and one eye on my daughter, when they both tend to wander off in different directions.

Totally worth it though, lovely day, knackered now though.

 

I'm smashed. Been on mojitos for the last two hours. Done a bottle of spiced rum.

 

Still managed to squeeze a sunset surf in after all that. ****ing toast now though ...

 

Suffering today. Mrs luv has gone and impulse bought one of those inflatable hot tubs, can't be bothered with it myself.
