    I quote you a piece from Martin Samuel this morning praising Everton for trying to beat the elitist trap (no, I'm not going to make you read that!).

    He writes: This is what FFP was going to strangle. It is no coincidence that the moment it collapsed, Everton became an attractive proposition.

    So has FFP been repealed? If so, when did it happen?

    Taylor scores second after Scotland fails to clear corner. You never know in football, but England are a far better team than Scotland. The professional game has made such a difference to women's football. It used to cross my mind that women should play on a smaller pitch as they lacked fitness and strength, but not now they are full time players.

    Wow, my internet stream must be way behind. Still 2-0 and it's not even at a point where England will soon be scoring (e.g. a corner). Domestic women's football is a corrupt, elitist, money-driven joke... But as I'm kinda able to disassociate the domestic and international game, I am just about to support England.

    Edit: The goal's just happened. Nice shot by Scott. Shame she plays for $ity.

    I know your reasons, but compared with men's football, it is a bit rich tto make such an aim at the women's game. They have hardly started in the avaricious stakes. :)

    Duggan (who has recently joined Barcelona) makes it 6-0. FT

    England look a really good side....even if you recognise that Scotland were outclassed. They may not feel it now, but it was a big achievement for Scotland to qualify.

    You`re right. It`s a pity Kim Little (FA player of the year) wasn`t available to show what she can do on ths international stage though.
