Homeless as an issue in our time, is mental. How it is still something that is so untouched, is insane. It's like I said to the gf this weekend after hearing some bull on the radio news.

HOW ARE PEOPLE HAVING TO PROTEST ABOUT KEEPING FUNDING FOR THE NHS!?!?! HOW IS THIS EVEN A THING!?

 

It is all such a mess, and people voted for it. Ret*rds!

I'm working my arse off and living in a world, and funding a government, that I hate. Great isn't it.

What I find utterly ridiculous is they're going to spend billions on refurbishing the house of parliament instead of funding the NHS and other important things like benefits and homelessness etc.

Why won't Nicola the fish just shut up? I get that she is a nationalist but ffs please just give it a rest. Had Scotland left the union last time round they'd be on their knees and bust all the SNP spending plans funded by oil at £120 a barrel when it's not even half that now. She has no coherent economic argument and every time she goes on about what the Scottish people want she seems to forget that two years ago they voted with a 10 per cent majority to stay. Also it was a once in a generation vote - I know life expectancy in Glasgow is not great but seriously...

 

Well, I'm Scottish and I TOTALLY agree with you and I've NO idea how she thinks she can get away with it. As you say, oil is a fraction of the price that it was a few years ago and they don't sell THAT much whisky!!!!!

 

I like to think I do my bit in helping the Scottish economy in the key whisky area.
