Tell me about it! It's really frustrating. He's all over me this morning again. I know it's just because I haven't fed him yet.
You can feed him less but more often, OK so its still food for love, or how about playing with him? What toys do you have? Any that mean you interact like this one from B&M stores. A knackered kitten will crash to sleep and if near you from play, maybe near enough to draw him close for a gentle rub. My cats I think in part come to me allot more than the wife in part because I play with them more. http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/cat-teaser-301136 please log in to view this image Best thing about the toy above (As long as you don't let them chew through the fishing line!) Is you can keeep reusing it, the end has a safety pin like catch and you can make/buy new lures. Or turn your thermostat down, Cats absolutely love warmth, so he may come to you if the house is colder? and finally get a small low sided cardboard box. When he inevitably settles in it, bring it to you and give him a rub. If he scrams at any touch start out by just having the box on your lap and letting him get more comfortable being on or around you. Ultimately none of these offer up any garantee. I have two cats, both hate being picked up and carried. One, Ulysses would only come for any attention when he wanted to generally during the night and particularly if we're having a lay in during the morning. He is getting a bit better and it's not only around the bed that this pussy wants stroking now. The other, Magnus is a total brush whore, you only have to hold a brush or combe in the air and he'll come running. He then will generally settle sometimes only whilst the brushing is going on, sometimes longer. He loves attention and very vocally demands it. But my mum has always had cats anywhere from 2 -4 at any one time. One Benjy she has at the moment, is very timid of people and whilst now happy to get attention and be with my folks, he is still hidden out the way anytime any guests come. Smokey on the other hand, is a total people cat, and will lap up any attention and keep coming back for more. Hope something above works Bah!
Aw, thanks General. That's great! I've bought him plenty of toys. Some you play with him, some he can play with on his own in the day. Iv got a couple of string type toys that he loves, but only play with us now and again. You can't really stroke him during it either. He was good this morning. Ignored him last night. This morning I petted him then made a coffee went and sat down on the sofa with my laptop. He jumped up and came to see me. Climbed over my lap, all over my laptop. He lay along the side of my legs, and I stroked him lots and he rolled about and I tickled him tummy. Purring all the time. Was lovely! Was like having a pet for the first time! I know all that was because his bowl was empty. But still, was nice.
A breakthrough last night!! Don't know how's to upload a photo on here off my phone. Il post one later. He now comes up to me on the sofa. Lays along my legs. Purring, rolling over for tummy tickles and strokes. He was with me on there about half an hour this morning!! He even sat on my lap for about 20 seconds! First time ever! Thanks for everyone's advice.
20 European cities vying for the title of 'best European destination, 2017' The amazing Croatian city of Zadar won it last year. Quite a few I've not been to, but San Sebastian got my vote http://www.europeanbestdestinations.com/best-of-europe/european-best-destinations-2017/
Jesus H Christ, police in Bristol taser their own race relations advisor WTF next? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...nblack-race-relations-advisorafter-mistaking/
Bristol police clearly could have approached it better, but he as a relations officer perhaps could have been a little more sensible in not walking away when challenged. If it was the correct man they had found, might he not have denighed it and moved away? I hope he has also learnt that politely corresponding with the officers and then perhaps making a formal complaint about there manners might have been a better recourse. If he is so chippy, its small wonder relations probably need an advisor, may be not him though. Bah!
Thanks Dave! Tiggy has been brilliant the last 2-3 days! It's like having an actual pet at times. More and more time is spend out with us. He still hides a hell of a lot. But I can definitely tell at times, that he loves and trust me. That feels amazing.
