Still 4-1 Federer though... handy enough....

Whilst I agree with what you are saying (apart from your last two lines) your comment would be deemed as slightly sexist
Lmao which is why I was trying a tactful approach.

Is there anything out there where women get paid more than there male counter parts ?

    Ffs don't say porn!

It's just stating facts. If facts are sexist ok fine.

Read the first page of this thread for what men see about women's tennis

For the record there's not a single sport I can think off or the audience for all sports seem to be 70 or 80 per cent male

You know it would have been nice to just see him stretched to win it in 4 or whatever. He could have played wrong handed today.

For whatever reason Novak is currently not on his game
Nadal has never been as good on grass and suceptible to a dodgy result
Murray, never has been and never will be in the same class as the other three - top player but just not in that league (will add has done amazingly well because of that)
Federer - bearing in mind his peers - has been unbelievable
Came through as Sampras was finishing
I think Fed is the greatest - simple as

Apparently the runner up in the Boys final hit a serve down at 130mph today <yikes>

Hingis... definitely still would. Hard to believe she's only 36, been around forever.

Unbelievably had to be somewhere this afternoon so didn't see the final live

    Watching it back now

Fed is G.O.A.T. and it's brill he won it. In fact I would class him as one of, if not the, top athlete of all time <diva><magic><cool> Serene tennis all tournament and didn't drop a single set

But I would have liked to see him pushed a little bit harder just to make it all the sweeter

Obviously the occasion and whatever injuries Cilic had - blisters I believe - really got to him

The men's singles this year has been a let down apart from Fed winning, big name withdrawals and / or injuries, more than I can remember at any slam, and kind of average players benefitting by progressing deeper than they really have the right to

Hingis has got fitter as she's aged. Body is still better than the face but I would still dump gallons of cum over her

I hope Jamie Murray has done the right thing

Think the other 4 (including Stan) need to forget the no1 ranking completely. In the long run and for legacy it means very little, barely anyone remembers that a player held the no1 ranking and for how long, it all comes down to Slam wins and thats all people really care about. Federer has come to understand by taking months off in order to emphasis his chances of winning slams.
They've all reached the age where bouncing from one tournament to the next is just too much for their bodies to hold up to. Think the other 4 have about 3-4 years left in them and if they want to win as much as they can in that time they need to maximize their chances by playing less.

Good point, I mean, once you've had it world no.1 is kind of meaningless - I know it's not, but like you say you won't be world no. 1 any more once you've been retired 10 years, what matters is legacy and legacy comes down to winning ****

Imo the world no 1 really represents how often you play and how much money you are harvesting.

As you said the old boys can well afford to play less as they have it made but the guys playing on the tour need to make their money while the sun shines for them.

Legacy is a nice thing but when you have such greats it's very hard win one major so.. well bread and butter.
