Just gone up on the Fa website: ----- 13/02/2011 THE FA have this morning announced that they will impose crowd restrictions on Norwich City Football Club following yesterday's Championship clash with Reading. Mike Gatward, speaking on behalf of The FA, said that "[after] reviewing the video evidence available to us, it has become apparent that Norwich City have been negligent in ensuring Carrow Road is a safe place to enjoy football; we have applied for a Crowd Restriction Order at the High Court, which we expect will be approved by Tuesday". Gatward went on to add "Despite the best efforts of Norwich City Football Club, the style of football played and in particular the last minute winners make Carrow Road a dangerous place for persons with cardiovascular problems". The exact wording of the Crowd Restriction Order (CRO) is unclear at this point, however it will include a clause limiting the maximum age of persons admitted to Norwich City premises to 55 and the minimum age to 12, it will ban persons with heart conditions such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol, and will totally eliminate away support to avoid instances of broken hearts. It is hoped that the CRO will ease the burden on both the Norfolk and Norwich Primary Care Trust and the NHS direct helpline, which rapidly become overwhelmed on matchdays with Canary supporters reporting that "Ol' Hoooolty 'int up to it though is 'e Neeyul" and making vague inquiries about training ground practices.
Considering that some muppet threw something that hit the lino, you probably shouldn't give the FA ideas.
