Giroud crying that he couldn't get a ball/chance like that. Welbeck isn't good enough.

Knew it! I knew BT would forget about the rule change. They always do. At the start of the season, they couldn't understand why a player didn't go off the pitch with an injury (the opponent getting booked).

Ha, someone has just told him.

Be surprised if they get another chance as clear as those three. Oppo missed. And over. (sneaky kibosh for pens......)

Struggling to understand why Wenger thinks that Ozil on the counter is a better option that Walcott.

All Ozil's done in ET is run into the box and fall over.

Man City have every right to feel aggrieved. Perfectly good goal wrongly disallowed. Yes Arsenal should have had a pen but a that's always a chance of missing, not a concrete goal.

Just came in. Was listening on the radio in bits to today's FA Cup game. What is it about Man City.? For eons, ManC supporters have talked about their club's ability to just come up short. And now that they are quite obviously the most talented squad in the PL, with what some people insist is the best manager [OK, try him with less than the best players], and they still come up short. I think those ManC supporters might have a point. Today they could have buried Arsenal under their weight of class and skill, but from what I could hear they were kept at bay, apart from one counter attack, and then picked off with two goals, by a side who, player for player, almost none of them would feature in a best amalgamation of the two.

So Arsenal get to the Final. Hurumph.! Luckily, Chelsea know how to win, so I give Arse slim or no chance there. And we know what happened to slim.

Wenger got his tactics spot on for this game.

For once Arenal looked solid at the back, while City's woeful defending certainly was in evidence for the second goal.

    Chamberlain was superb btw.

Can't compute that. Arsenal play one pretty way of attempting to walk the ball into the net in exactly the same way they've done it for the last 20 years. They don't do tactics. :)

One thing about 5 Live which severely pissed me off today was when one presenter said that Arsenal may hijack VVD from Chelsea. That left me ****ing livid. It's not so much the far too soon anticipation of a transfer. It's the total lack of recognition that a player is registered at another football club, ie, the one I follow. But it could have been any club that these glamour clubs merely pluck from the also-rans.
