JOTL - tbf to most of them on this site they're good lads in the main, but there's still a few real RAWK'esque kopites amongst them though. Foreskindave is a prime example. Grade 'A' helmets who made the ****e their team of choice when they were winning everything in sight. Out of towner, plastics, who no doubt considers themselves as diehards as they have a replica shirt & a Sky subscription. They signed up for guaranteed trophies & the reflected glory that they thought came with it. Now it's 2013 & they're bang average, having been on the slide for years, their lofty perch is a thing of the past, as is a League title, that's eluded their grasp for 23 years & counting. Old bitter kopites like them, didn't sign up for average & can't compute the FACT that they're nothing special at all & their rivals uo the East Lancs have eclipsed their achievments under Ferguson. They have the temerity to call us 'bitters' when their behaviour around anything United, is bitterness personified. They cling onto the success of yesteryear with comments like "normal service will be resumed" that's both delusional & arrogant. Then wax lyrical about a 'new era' under Brenda, as if it's a certainty that they'll get back to where they were. They'll finish the season potless & probably in 7th place, having spent another £40M gaining 1 league place, but in the land of the kopite it'll be progress on the road back to the top............
Foreskindave is a sad old twat. People disagreeing and debating is great, it's what makes for a good forum. He just makes a statement, which is more often than not bollocks, and when asked to back it up he gets angry and starts calling anyone who disagrees with him stupid or says that they must have missed out on an education blah blah blah. His reaction to the joint statement released by Spurs and Arsenal was priceless!
haha, he claimed that was (& I quote) a quasi factual ironic post The reality is he's not capable of formulating a sensible reasoned argument himself, so when someone else provides him with one that challenges his one eyed perspective, he comes off the ropes swinging,like some auld tramp. As he can't reply with a well put together counter argument - as basically, he's as thick as pig **** - hence the comments about education & intellectual capacity, aimed at posters who are obviously superior to him in that regard.
