"Click this image to see full-size version"? Erm, don't think I'll bother, reduced size is plenty...........
"New Hermit Wanted in Austria". Won't have to worry about finding winners at Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, or Flemington here..................no Internet. http://www.dw.com/en/austria-hermit-wanted/av-38041989
Not too far on tippy-toes to Berchtesgadenerland. Would definitely give the move a great deal of consideration If I did not have my Mum to 'care' for!
The Chaser team with a page of piss takes on Oz culture. http://www.chaser.com.au/national/pauline-hanson-declares-islam-causes-autism/
The picture below is the same type of yacht as in the the film. It's a Leopard 39. Breath taking stuff. The crew were having a ball, don't know if I would be though. The walls of water are wild. South Africa to Australia. please log in to view this image
The ultimate in recycling... SpaceX Falcon 9 collected much more quickly than your local council collects your empty beer bottles and bean tins. Quite amusing how they lost the live pictures just as the rocket was landing – that will have the conspiracy theorists going: one moment nothing... blackout... next moment rocket landed.
U.S. Airman turned East German spy............... Interesting documentary/video account of U.S. airman Jeffrey Carney who became an important spy for the East in the Berlin of the 1980's. He certainly speaks pretty damn good German IMHO. Film takes a little over 42-minutes: http://www.dw.com/en/us-airman-turned-east-german-spy/av-38260216
Video "not available" however viewed from another source. During my net surfing through the News (?) channels I sometimes see short excerpts from Fox 'News' when they advertise their selection of varied (?) commentary output. The Factor with Bill O'Reilly usually pops up and I am prompted to recall this scoundrel interviewing the son of a US forces veteran. Just because the young man suggested that the USA should review it's foreign policy to examine why it was the subject of terrorist attacks worldwide Mr O'Reilly thought it appropriate to inform his guest that he was a disgrace to his father's memory and the USA then asked 'security' to immediately escort the young man from the premises of Fox News. "Fair and Balanced" my candyarse! By the way have I informed the viewers that FC Bayern Munchen E.V. and their various office holders, staff, representatives and players are the finest, fair minded, charitable, considerate and law abiding soccer team this planet has ever produced. I believe that the greater good produced by the club, and don't be influenced by my fair and balanced judgement on this marvelous and inspirational institution, should allow the world to look upon the minor misdemeanours unfortunately carried out by Messrs Hoeness, Ribery and Beckenbauer with a kind and forgiving heart. Toodle Pip until Thursday morning! Candles to be lit, incense to be burned and prayers to various deities to be recited!
Yes, BayernMünchen regularly have holy water chucked over them by the Vatican envoy here. Maybe you could assist him, BK, although I know "water is not your cup of tea" (that's weird?). They need it! Sorry the clip became unavailable, was OK when I posted it. O'Reilly and Trump, they're just a couple of very D.O.M.? From the president of a country that used Agent Orange years ago in Viet Nam, I take no notice of his pious crap on why he gave the order to bomb that airfield. Russia and the USA don't give a **** about anyone except themselves.
Must be feeling a wee bit out in the cold since February 2013 when 'Benedict' chucked it in! Not averse to a touch of tap water with my Kentucky/Tennessee style 'water of life'. From my simple mind and shallow knowledge all this picking sides in Syria seems based on Russia's desire for a deep water naval base in/on the Mediterranean and the USA's wish that no such improvements/repairs should be made to the current base at Tartus. As usual when Geopolitics are in operation morals are ignored, my enemy's enemy becomes my friend syndrome is nurtured and innocent civilians get f**k*d! Watching Fox News reminds me of that old 'game'. Name guests, living or deceased, you would like to attend a dinner party at your 'gaff'; Peter Ustinov, David Niven and Stephen Fry spring to mind. Now think about your guests from hell; Bill O'Reilly, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Nigel Farage would easily form my personal 'four horsemen'.
Talk about "broken Britain" - just flown into Manchester, gone to pick up the hire car and Europcar have got no ****ing cars left. There are like 40 people here with reservations and they have run out of cars. How the **** does that work?
The top of the first rise would have scared the **** out of me. After that it seemed relatively tame.
