Two sleeps to Christmas, then it will all be over for another year.

It's been a funny old year. The crisp munchers won the league back in May, we exited Europe, and Trump is the new President of the USA. A single pound bet on that outcome would have netted you millions!

We are 3 points from 3rd place in the Championship, who would have thought that back in September when we were bottom of the division?

We we look back over 2016, who would you nominate for :-

1) Player of the year

2) Gaff of the year

3) Goal of the year

4) Performance of the year




We also need to look at the Not606 awards.

Who would be the Wally of the year?

The hook, line and sinker? (for fishing)

Thread of the year?

Rhe 'I could not have been more wrong' thread of the year

Going over my folks in Bognor Regis both Christmas day and Boxing Day. What about you pal?

So I will spend the morning setting up my new sound bar and spotify account then get out of the way in the kitchen.
Depending on weather might head to wetherby races on boxing day.

We're eating out this year, family around in the morning and looking forward to just slobbing out on food and drink.

Player of the year so far Wood. Woods goals have helped momentum, Janssons efforts at the back have been immense BUT it would be unfair to leave out Bartley, Taylor and Ayling.

Gaff of the year - Pre Season preparation.

It's Christmas I'm not going to moan or pick on a player They have all done us proud so far this season.

Morning all and a happy xmas to all. Hard to improve on Ristac efforts above. Gaff of the year has to be Cellino even considering selling. He's doing a fine job and hope he's around for many more seasons given the excellent progress we're making. Goal of the year probably the one against Fulham that may have save Monk and the rest is history. Previous seasons, it was dead easy picking our best player so far as 90% of them were varying degrees of ****e. Different this year, they're varying degrees of excellent. The I could not have been more wrong award is Glorys. In fact he occupies all spots in the top ten

 

Happy Xmas everyone and hope you all get want you wanted. Which would be in most cases: win the league, get a brand new Veyron, jump a page 3 tart, get pissed whilst being gobbed off by a pool.

1) Player of the year: Pontus as he has welded our defence & showed passion.

2) Gaff of the year: Chippy, I'll just leave that there.

3) Goal of the year: Icelands winner & Woys downfall.

4) Performance of the year. I think Liverpool as tv audience saw something special was happening
