    :)

    I am "working" from home.

Wifey thinks its not hot enough to put up paddling pool. saving for tomorrow.

my work is heavily conditioned to 23°C 50% RH anyway so i never notice.

    offices without conditioning are ****ty.

I stopped getting those. If left out overnight (and huge waste of water for one day) I would always find 3 or 4 dead lizards in the paddling pool each morning. That and the kids wouldn't use it, but whine when you take it down, and they never survive a whole summer in the sun. The sun destroys them in a season.

I felt like some sort of lizard mass murderer. (Nowadays thats the outdoor cat, my front doorstep is littered with lizard remains).

I wanted a hot tub but the budget won't stretch that far so got the paddling pool. Freezing cold water isn't quite the same though <laugh>

I'm having a new boiler and replacing all the radiators at the end of June, planning on putting hot & cold outside taps in at the same time #missionwarmpaddlingpool

Cold water not the issue here. Something as small as a paddling pool will be bath temperature in a day.

I want a hot tub too. For me it's my messed up knees and the gout. Hot tub seems to help. The neighborhood we live in has them at the two pools that our neighbourhood dues go towards.

Public hot tubs always gross me out a little though.

TBF I could get a decent inflatable hot tub for £250. Just can't justify the spend with having so much to do in the house...

Already paid for electrician ( near enough a re-wire) and a eight hob cooker. Not going to have a deal left once the utility room, windows (3 glass replacements and 1 window), boiler & radiators are done.

Still got carpets and sofa to buy. Not even thought about touching the bathroom or kitchen yet <laugh>

You could cover it up at night with a tarp or something.
    The pool, not the cat.

It's only nice enough to go out three times a year anyway.
Just stick this on your feature wall. <ok>

If you read Mary Shelley's novel, the book starts at the North Pole with a frosty 'stein.
