In fairness hugh grant would be perfect in this case cos that gaff sounds right up his street from notting hill etc
you've never seen that steaming pile of ****e that women love called notting hill. How the **** did you manage that one.
She watches the girly crap when I'm at work. Grey's anatomy. Once upon a time. Call the midwife, etc.
Ahhheven better. But what does she make you watch... the odd time you come out of the games room of course
The only time we watch TV together is one show before bed. (Except for the matches, that's the only time I usually watch TV at all). Currently it's alternating between Last Kingdom season 2, Trial and Error, rewatching scrubs, and the Goldberg's. We finished Better Call Saul (season 2. 3 isn't out here yet) a week or two ago. Personally, I probably wouldn't watch Goldberg's if the Mrs. didn't want it. It's not terrible, but it's repetitive. Basically each episode is one of 3 regurgitated plots. The theme may be different but it's window dressing on one of three plots.
They didn't used to, but I think they have a few times in recent years. Haven't actually watched it over here though.
Not seen goldbergs but thats how i felt about its always sunny in california or whatever it was called. Some people find it super hilarious. I thought it was okay...
She watches a lot more than than me, so gets her crappy girly shows out when I'm not around. I don't watch much TV without her, but when I do I watch the shows she will hate like Peep Show or Wilfred. (Finished both now, they're just examples) or documentaries on science or history.
The three plots are: 1) Mother tries to help one of the kids but ends up embarrassing the kids so they shun her and end up apologising in the end. 2) One of them tries to recreate something from an 80's movie and fails. Ok. That's two plots. It's always one of those two. Different dressing, same two plots. The daughter has been in her last year of high school since the show began about 4 years ago. The youngest son ages, been through middle school and now in high school, but his siblings are always 1 and 2 years away from graduating. (Except they finally made the daughter graduate the last season finale, so the age gap between kids is down to three years instead of 7 when the show started)
Oh... I remember what the third plot is. Middle child teases youngest child about something nerdy. Always ends with him either begrudgingly accepting the nerdiness or embracing it himself. That's a rarer plot line though, only happens about twice a season.
Was bloody warm outside when went to lunch. Hate it being this hot in work clothes as get proper sweaty!
