Lol...

Starter is Scallops in streaky bacon on salad.

Main is Lobster Tails poached in lobster stock with cauliflower puree and caramelised cauliflower with a lobster butter sauce..

It's close up because this bloody site wouldn't let me post original photos. Said they were too big..so when I cut them they zoomed..

The lobster butter sauce was just a tiny bit thin as I hadn't reduced it enough before butter and cream.

The lobster was about 30 seconds over poached.

Otherwise ...tasted great!

 

Although..lots of pre meal wine probably helped with the taste

Always the trick getting those you cook for half cut before serving lol

You posh twat ... Could tell of course it was lobster in the second pic, or was it a prawn from about 2cms away ?? Are lobsters just big prawns ??

 

Lol...you forget I live 5/10 miles away from multiple fishing ports...when not hungover on a Saturday morning you can get this stuff cheap enough at the port markets. Not the big restaurant ones but the smaller stuff.

Also only 5 miles away from deer farm, pheasant, duck etc..get it all cheap.

I've been trying all the different shell fish in dishes. Obviously even if a bit cheaper I don't do lobster every week lol..

So yeah...prawns normally lol....Although up Dundrum way you can get awesome mussels...

Have to like shellfish I suppose.

Reminds me of bloody Schumacher. I'm not watching if Ferrari won... Man Utd of the F1 world. Everyone hates them. They get every unfair advantage and they're supported more by foreigners.

Ferraris are crap cars too. Expensive pieces of egg shells that break way too easily.

 

So apparently I'm the only one at work who when finished eating a boiled egg, turns the shell upside down in the cup and smashes the shell to stop the demons getting out.... is anyone else with me on this?

I just really dislike Vettel find him very smug and smarmy and he's only ever won races because his car has been unchallenged fastest no other teams that close, weak team-mate, would prefer Kimi to have a late-career resurgence and win another title if the Ferrari stays quick enough to do that

See what you mean about Ferrari but they are part of the history of the sport, been in every race in every season since it began

i was just told this as a child and assumed everyone else knew same thing. So far I'm on my own with the eggs, but few have heard of the sneezing one.
