I dunno. Its really down to engine. I don't really think the mercedes has been fully pushed but the rare couple times it has been we've seen brittleness. I don't think its all that in chassis either compared to red bull but its obviously head and shoulders over ferrari and the rest. so... I dunno. Has Mercedes plateaued yet? is there a top level for their engine and the rest catch it this year or will they produce another 100 HP and be gone again? I agree on Mclaren. Thy just cannot get close cos frankly the money is gone and honda i don't think will produce an engine near the others again this year. Will the be williams from now on? no i think they have a chance to get back up... but not now not with honda. I'd not be too quick to call them mistbale as they ae giants of the sport and can easily come back but only if done right. I mean in my youth what you said could have been said of ferrari.
It's odd though. Prettier cars go faster. There is something about good aerodynamics on cars that make them look better in F1. For some odd reason the dog-ugly cars tend to run slower.
This does hold true. If you look at the recent championship winning cars, Mercedes from he last few years, Vettel's Red Bull, Jenson's Brawn, Hamilton's McLaren, Alonso's Renaults, Schumacher's Ferraris, Hakkinen's McLaren, Williams before that ... they all looked sexy and were obviously fast as fook
Or maybe we think those cars are better looking because they are winning cars and the success alters our perception of them ??
From my experience of driving 40,000 miles plus a year, mainly on motorways a white Astra van would leave them all for dead!
Awwwwwww But yeh, it's a looker ... apart from those massive carbon grey barge boards either side of the cockpit which look a bit slabby
Eric Cantona infuriated Manchester United fans by hailing Liverpool favourite Gary McAllister as his greatest ever team-mate. The former France international was speaking during his one-man show at the Bournemouth International Centre. Quizzed about the best player he ever played with, Cantona took his time to consider his options. United supporters, who had paid up to £200 for the privilege of attending, shouted out suggestions like Old Trafford legends Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ws/cantona-leaves-united-fans-raging-12645381
