£975 did the car even cost that much ?[/QUOTE] Car was about £2,800 I think. I got a bollocking from the area director, as did my mate on the motor underwriting team, as the Prudential would not insure anyone for a Scimitar if they were under 25. I was only 23 at the time, but they said they would keep me on the books, but if I had a claim they would not renew the Policy, luckily I never claimed.

Some say he doesn't like French people, and that he thinks combine harvesters go over 60mph, all we know is he's called the RHC
My cars (not including ones that were technically the Mrs which we owned together... No minivan will appear next to my name) Toyota Corolla Pontiac LeMans* Ford Ranger Toyota Camry x 2 Isuzu Rodeo ** Honda Fit * crappiest car ever- technically my parent's car but they let me borrow it for about a year while I saved up for a new car. I had just graduated uni when my old car died. ** 2nd crappiest car ever- another cheapo temp car that used to be a relatives
Highest reliability rating of any brand and a good resale value. I sold one of the Camry's 2 years after buying it for the same price I purchased it brand new. (I got a fantastic deal on it new). I would never buy a European made car personally because they are bottom of the stack for reliability. The Asian brands are typically best with the American brands catching up in the last couple of decades.

Seeing the Madeleine McCann case is back in the news again. One of the Portuguese detectives who wrote a book claiming she had died and the parents covered it up now doesn't have to pay libel to them. The Portuguese Supreme Court is also saying the parents are not formally in the clear. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...p/news-story/7b0a8aa3dcb35e3d411cdb49073595ae
