http://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/38675984 are we now in the era of murray or is this just a load of bollox?
djokovic lost in aussie open so thats what is stimulating it. If murray ever had a chance to add 2/3 slam titles to his list he's just had it dropped in his lap and he is fit to do it. I don't think he could win french but who knows...
Why is this in a so called family newspaper, feel sorry for the poor old Gorilla! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4139722/The-man-half-metre-PENIS.html
Djokovic was so good because he was after the career slam. Now he's got that, the intensity isn't the same so the article has a point. Becker isn't his coach anymore but I don't know if that's part of the problem. It's not a surprise that he's gone out though. Nadal, Federer, Djokovic have all been getting knocked out of slams in the early rounds for around 5-6 years now so to call it a surprise is noobish. Murray is the only one who hasn't and who has actually been slowly and steadily improving over all those years to the point where he is without question the best player in the world. Ok Djokovic just beat Murray in Doha prior to the AO but that's not a slam and the slams are where the best players in the game show that they are. Whether Murray will dominate for a few years now we will wait and see. Wawrinka has a hole in his CV since he is missing the Wimbledon title - he's my pick to win it this year. He's won a slam every year for the last three years, Australian, French, US so the pattern could continue and his game is suited to grass. Nadal is playing really well again and looks healthy and fit so he'll be hanging around deep into the slams if he can stay that way. Federer looks fit again and in imperious form. Whether he can stay with Murray over five we'll have to see. Then there are young players like Zverev and Thiem who are both loaded with talent and could grab a slam this season. Murray has Raonic's number (still a youngish guy) and always dominates him deep in tourneys so unless he changes something can't see the Canadian putting a dent in him. But in short there are still a fair few players around who could interrupt Murray's dominance to stop a full-on Murray era in the game. Or one of the younger players could step up and be his great rival for a few years. None of the mid - late career guys are going to be able to be that as they are either close to retiring or simply not good enough.
OK. Since I first clicked on the link the have put the black triangle over it. I don't know if they had meant to publish the article uncensored initially, but it wasn't great viewing just after lunch.
I suspect they had a few complaints as they normally pixall out any nipples, unless on African tribeswomen.
