Well 2 Irish lads did well in the second half, O'Connor replaced Ayling & Stokes replaced Anotonnson. He looked very sharp & liveley around the box. Roofe & Berardi were on for the full 90 minutes, and Roofe looked good and scored a good goal. Silvestri in goal 2nd half no Greene, no Erwin?

Pleased that Stokes got game time. Wonder why it was only 20 mins, like O'Connor, and not 45 like the others? I'd love it if he broke through this season, but I fear that politics might prevent this. Imagine spending millions on midfielders when there's one already on your books for nothing. I just can't see so many losing face like that. Relying on Stokes to play well, & TC to have big enough balls to act on it.

Roll on Austria. Can't wait. Seriously tempted to check out some airfares. Serious, but married.

 

On another note, glad to see the mighty Oxford held to 0-0 by Monk's Mob.

 

I think Erwin, Ekuban, Alioski & Wood will be our strikers. Tommy peed off about lack of goals from chances made so Antonnosn could be gone, but Erwin seems to have taken his chance.

Tommy also says another player arrives tomoz but wouldnt say who.

Mrs WJ won't go as WJ doesn't do the Brit thing - he does the Tartan Army thing & gets taken off the plane in a wheelchair or in cuffs, just depending on how the flight went.

 

I said he wouldnt play for us.... I was right about the deal... Thats why he was unveiled as a new signing a couple of weeks ago... Still wouldnt be shocked if he went. So wont be paying out until he plays a competative game for us.
