Monk to get the boro job today. If he and beattie walk out the door will be an indication of where he stands
Phil Hay, I think it was, reported that the rest of monk's back room team were still there, contracted to 1st July
Same here bud just had the little one out playing footy shes nearly three but likes it.bit of light relief from the other thread.
this Radz guy, he seems to know what he's doing .. imagine all the leaks if Cellino was still in charge .. his sons (sorry, Leeds United Directors) would be posting selfies of them with every fcuking manager who's ever been in football, including Monk, claiming they're being interviewed .. the silence from ER is deafening, but also professional Radz and his new CEO, who only started yesterday, will no doubt be working throughout the weekend conducting interviews with their shortlist .. I expect this will probably take place at offices in London to stay below the radar and make it easier travel wise .. I'm liking the new Leeds, calm and assured .. interesting times ahead Monk to Boro is just silly, and his new chairman has publicly stated that he expects them to go up as champions .. well, they'll definitely be six points down against Leeds, so lots of pressure waiting for the ginger one Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I've deffo got muddled up. What I think confused me was that I read somewhere that Beattie was going to join Monk as his #2, and Clotet wasn't. Might just have been someone's speculation I read - just canny remember. Thanks for straightener.
I think you're spot on, Billy, & I'd like to speculate some or all of the first interviews might be over now. Radz seems too clever to advertise his intentions for specific dates. That would invite the press to follow his every move, camp outside offices to catch glimpses of candidates etc. - anything in fact that would fuel speculation. And that appears to be what he's trying to avoid. Interesting. Then again, perhaps I'm granting him too much nous.
I think you've picked me up wrong - I quite agree, & enjoy the way he's going about it. He's done well to avoid the speculation so far, and I think he's thrown the 'interviews next week' out there to take the heat off whilst he actually IS doing them this week. Just a thought & in keeping with a clever business tactician. Honesty time - a bit of me is missing the speculation. Have to admit it. Makes the close season a bit more interesting.
Bit energetic for me! Did you find the burger place? Next door to a petrol station, as I recall. The northern BL equivalent is better, I think. Less commercialised. Enjoy!
