Back to the manager gig it looks like we could be going foreign unless a Big Mick Pearson type decides they can work under a DoF. So who has Bravo & Orta worked with in the past. Someone who they think is cut out for the toughest league in Europe. Who has Pep worked for in the past?
Interviews this week, I assume held at ER yet nobody has been spotted/reported being seen arriving or leaving the ground? Reporters like Pope, you'd have thought he might have an insider at the ground or have someone that could tip him off when there is activity...
If the guys doing the interviews are in Leeds? Do you know where they are? If they are in Leeds maybe first interview done on-line or Skype. Why waste loads of time & money when it can be done quickly whilst making a shortlist dor second interviews on face to face basis?
True but surely we're talking 5-6 interviews max? Phone calls would have been made and only those interested invited to apply? Give them a tour of behind the scenes, sit down in a room watch body language and have Radz and Orta both present, new guy might want his agent present too. I can't see it not being done sat around a boardroom table myself but who knows.
At least one of our previous watermelons has been appointed in hotel bars at 2 A.M after a conversation involving salt and pepper pots and a pannini sticker album. Not convinced its not about to happen again, are you?
Chippy has to be downbeat about something - it's been all cheer for him this year - especially Brexit. When the Tory's win tonight he will be doing cartwheels around Harrogate
