    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds United look set to tap into Sevilla’s recruitment model again by adding former footballer Dani Salas to their scouting team.

Reports in Spain say Salas will leave Sevilla in the weeks ahead to link up with Leeds and help establish a new system of recruitment under club owner Andrea Radrizzani.

Salas is known to Victor Orta, another former Sevilla employee who Radrizzani named as United’s new director of football last week.

Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci could find Italian salvation at Serie A club Bologna after his potential permanent move to Empoli collapsed, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The newspaper claims that Empoli are not likely to pursue the centre-back following their relegation to Serie B even though he was a mainstay of the team in the recently completed domestic season.

    Pep's odds are widening...

Morning all. You'd imagine this week would see new coach appointed. Probably about three weeks till players return and Pre season friendlies need setting up long before that so matter needs resolving very soon. Simon Grayson seems to have bagged another bargain from the league of Ireland in Sean Maguire. The cork striker has 19 goals in 20 games this season and has been given a 3 year contract. He'd have cost virtually nothing in strikers terms. They signed two quality Dundalk players back in January also. Regardless of your opinion of league of Ireland footballers, these players are well worth a punt and we're missing a trick maybe by only shopping in Italy or Spain. Also less of a cultural shock for Irish lads to move to England apart from the obvious language barrier

    Morning all..

The delay certainly points towards Clotet and him currently being away on holiday. If this is the case, then I would imagine that everything is on course with a few phones calls back and forth.

Good to hear we are appointing a scout, a bit concerned that it is another foreign one, probably because I don't want another season like Cellinos first with a host of not good enough SerieB players flooding in.

Seria A outfit Bologna are exploring the idea of signing Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri.

Coach needs resolving very quickly, & Pep is only on contract to the end of the month.

Decent story from Popey in the YEP about Bravo who Radz brought in to head up the academy. Says we are no longer selling our kids unless we think they will not make it at Leeds. Viera has played brilliantly for England U20s and Lewis Cook got man of the match yesterday to put us into the semi finals for the first time in years. Bravo has set up one of the best academies in the world so knows what hes doing and Radz has been greatly impressed with his results and ideas.

Silvestri deserves chance to go home and we all hope Bologna pay is £2m for Bellusci so he can fook off.

Orta heads up as DoF with Bravo heading into him on academy matters, with new first team coach also heading into Orta. Interesting times

Radz is building a solid leadership team with a clear plan to improve the club ... the latest about Salas potentially joining as a scout is very welcome news indeed, because we need to improve our scouting network for sure ... Salas specialises in Portugal/South America for Sevilla, and you have to be pretty decent to be a scout at Sevilla ... hopefully Radz can get his new manager confirmed by the end of the week and we can start improving the squad for the season ahead ... I really like the calmness around our club with Radz in charge, so very different from the frantic "leadership" of Cellino ... keep the faith

Last season Cellino kept Evans dangling on a piece of string and you got left behind whilst awaiting the appointment of your new messiah Monk
this season Monk resigned unlike Evans that's the only difference I can see thus far, aside from a couple of backroom staff but still no manager <ok>

Reminds me of my first ever appraisal at work. I couldn't read my boss' writing, so I took it home & asked my dad what it said. He couldn't read it - in fact none of my family, friends or workmates could. So I went into my meeting with the boss & told him the problem I had (I was really naive at that age, so possibly didn't phrase it as well as I could), and he went fcuking ballistic, shouting & bawling, opening & slamming doors, books thrown against the walls etc. The full flip-out. I shat myself, and all my workmates were at the window watching, in howls of laughter - which didn't help when he noticed them. Yup, you guessed it, there were apparently 2 mentions of me having bad handwriting in it & he thought I was taking the piss. He chucked me out. I thought I'd been sacked. Next day I got a re-written appraisal handed to me & a sort of apology. My union rep had got laid into him (he couldn't read it either!).
