the only thing i can think of on this is clotet only on a years option just like monk was ?.if so and a new coach comes in then it may mean bye bye and not activate another year.only guessing of course but a new broom sweeps clean they say.as for monk i hope he fails miserably wherever he ends up.
Wood should be kept because at least we know he can do it and 20m is not worth taking for the chance of prem money.so the club should refuse all offers and carry on.

manager stakes: Starting to look a lot like Clotet and bookies have him in odds on fav. However looking further afield you have to say the smart money has to be on an experienced manager who has experience of winning promotions, especially from Championship to premiership. At the moment the only name that fits the bill is Pardew. He also has experience of working with a DoF, which will be another prerequisite.

If you look at experience, winning things but overseas, wonder if Frank De Boer would be the man. Won Dutch league 4 times with Ajax but had a a bad time with Inter and only stayed 3 months. Not worked since but wonder if Radz knows him?

Not many top UK managers will work under a DoF so plenty top names ruled out, who is left?

Interesting to read Phil Hay's tweets today, although Pep is well liked he's considered too much of a risk apparently.

Hope he's wrong and Pep gets it as I feel with the right support he could be very successful.

This is a bit random but I'm a bit surprised Dalglish has never been mentioned. After all, wasn't it him that told Rad to buy Leeds??

Not saying I think it is a good idea but just think it's odd people like Hockamelon are in the betting and not KD!!

The betting is complete nonsense…Jaap Stam 9/1 for god's sake !

Notice how I used the apostrophe after God there for you politicos and other sky fairy worshippers.
