    Good Morning Everyone,

It looks increasingly likely that Karanka will be the new Manager of Leeds Utd.

It also looks likely that West Brom are going to sign Taylor.

Looks likely we could get between 4m and 5m from them.

Who from our present team would you pick if you had to pick a Captain?

Morning Elland. Jansson for captain. As my son in law pointed out last night, Katanga did get biro promoted even if it wasn't pretty. If we'd had him for last two months of season, maybe we'd be PL now. Assuming there's a decent transfer budget it may work. Without a proper budget won't matter who's in charge. Who's Taylor btw. Don't remember him

Orta has relationships with 4 of those managers yet Karanka keeps moving in on the betting whilst the other 3 are keeping where they were. Laudrup came from nowhere and is still in the top 3 or 4 because Orta knows him from Italy and Middle East. Laudrup brought Clotet into Swansea, and also bought Bartley. He had a great time with Swansea and then left, so just maybe we get him plus Clotet, Beattie and Bartley. Karanka is a top guy though and worked for Jose' at Real Madrid and stayed on after he left. I do have worries about him though as he seemed to lose the dressing room at Boro twice and the first time he walked only for Steve Gibson to bring him back, the last time he was sacked

Grayson is a dark horse as he seems to have crept up on the rails. A man with unfinished business

Quite strange really when you think your best season of late was when you employed a British manager and basically left him to his own devices <ok>
Now you will have a Director of football <yikes> no point in having one if theres no transfer fund so there has to be something in place.
And a coach to try and bring them all together.

Had you put your Directors wages and your coaches wages together and got yourselves a decent Manager and gave him the transfer fund I would have said that's 2 steps forward.
As things stand you've lost those 2 steps forward and taken 5 backwards a big -7
a long hard season awaits <ok>

Would have Grayson in a heartbeat - as long as we had a defensive coach!

Therein lies the problem and the answer.we had that many options up front so he would just chuck another on and hey preston we win.trouble is collins was bloody awful so as you say a defense coach needed.

Did transfer window close unknown to Eire? Obviously not something youve to worry about. Dole office going on holidays might hamper your team building of course

hello fellow sufferers ... Taylor will one day look back on his decision to join a tin pot club and wonder what might have been, specially when Denton is selected as England left back ahead of him ... I actually don't care who our next manager is as long as he does a great job ... I'd give Wood the captaincy, fire him up for a big season and another 30 goals (what an incredible performance from him last season)

Monk is on a shortlist of TWELVE at Palace, along with Dyche ... they want to stick to hiring a British manager, but are now also considering German and Portuguese managers due to the success of these nationalities ... that's the Palace job fcuked for Monk then, he will have to set his sights a lot lower ... he made a very foolish decision walking out on Leeds, but like Taylor he clearly felt he was worth a lot more ... time will tell
