Good Morning Everyone, Reading have made it into the play off final by beating Fulham 1-0 courtesy of a dubious hand ball decision which Kermorgant tucked away making their penalty ratio for the season scored 7 / missed 6. Fulham dominated the game to a degree but could not find a finishing touch whilst Reading looked very average but were tactically superior. Both teams were poor tbh; if only we had made that final play off slot! Huddersfield play the Wendies tonight to see who joins the Royals at Wembley! Dog botherer's, Wendies or the Royals; if you had to pick who goes up, who would it be? Ronaldo Viera has been called up to the England under 20 squad. Good luck to the lad. Morning Elland and all. Leave them too it. None of us will be thrilled no matter who wins the play offs. Rads two week deadline is fast approaching. Won't be long now
Football pundit and former Newcastle United player Micky Quinn has made a huge claim that Leeds United are a bigger club than Everton and West Ham United. While on talkSPORT, the 55-year-old was asked to select which clubs he felt were ‘big’ and ‘small’. Quinn was given a list of 15 English clubs and only five of them were seen as prestigious. Leeds were among the group, as well as Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest. Surprisingly, Everton and West Ham United – both well-established Premier League clubs – were in the ‘small’ list. please log in to view this image Apparently Millwall were names in the 'tidler' range
Morning Eire, the way I see it, Rad already owns 50% of us!!! All of his advisers etc did their due diligence back in January!!! There won't be anything that can't be ironed out!!!
Another young talent is set to leave Leeds United, with Michael Taylor the latest player confirming his release. The former under-18s captain sent a message on Twitter last night thanking the club for giving him an opportunity over the past few seasons and wishing them well for the future. At this rate our 2016/17 development team will be down to 3 or 4 players by the weekend.
That's alright then. Think about it, Rad already owns 50%. If there were issues with the purchase his advisers would have picked it up months ago, surely?
The first deadline is one he mentioned himself a week ago. He said categorically he would be full owner within ten days, two weeks max. The consequences? No contract talk with Monk till its done and consequently no signings if we dont know who the coach will be. I dont know about you lot, but one of our biggest failings of recent seasons has been our slow transfer windows with little or nothing happening until every other club that counts getting their deals done early. We all agree this is the summer to push on by strengthening, that wont be done in last week of transfer window. Remember the Brighton picture posted recently showing their board meeting the day after they were knocked out of last seasons playoffs when they were planning the season ahead
The deal will happen but GFH are absolute coonts and the deal they agreed with Cellino is being reneged upon. Radz will resolve it but not as fast as he would like. I did hear however that Radz is using some of his Chinese & Middle East contacts to threaten GFH, basically told them their name would be toxic in China, Far East, Middle East for any business dealings in the future? Kyle Bartley is back at Swansea, so the longer this drags on the more chance we lose him. Also talk coming out of Italy that Leeds havent paid for Pontus as agreed, but Leeds are saying no money due until June or July? so within a few days we may have lost the best center half partnership in the league.
On the subject of the academy its starting to feel like Monk is staying, why else has the club released players unless Monk advised it? some of the kids released only arrived last Summer after being released elsewhere.
