    Fulham fan in peace
You on here give a very good assessment on your team, what really impressed with Leeds more than any club was defending, if we got past the block/ tackles, there was rob green to save them, I know woods got a lot of goals, but in the 2 games, there was no continued attack threat, where I thought they are going to score soon.

Evening all. Looking at the stat that Monk got away with using 25 players, I can't but think how lucky we were with injuries. Had we lost a few at any point, it's very doubtful Monk had enough cover available. Apart from adding quality first teasers, surely six of squad as well as quality must be improved

Pretty sure it's an unreliable stat. I make it 26 if you add Mowatt & Bamba to the 24 below. Think the Gary Kelly mob really do need a kick in the Gary Kelly's! :D

    DEFENDERS
    MIDFIELDERS

Isn't Roofe an out-and-out striker rather than a No 10?

Yip, IMO. Same with Doukara. Yet both were the mainstay 'wingers' for most of the season. <doh>

Agree stats can be made to show whatever you want but it appears, whichever way you cut it, our midfield were more effective when O'Kane played. Not sure that should necessarily be a surprise, he was a big part of Bournemouth's promotion to the prem. Obviously I can only go on the games I saw him play on tv but he seemed a decent player that did the simple things well and kept the ball moving between the DM and the forwards. Not spectacular, which might have counted against him with the fans, probably unlucky that Monk favoured Hernandez for that job. Also makes you question who at Leeds keeps an eye on the Opta stats?

Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia could miss the start of next season after breaking his ankle.

The 27-year-old, Villa's top scorer this season, was hurt in Saturday's 1-0 Championship defeat by Blackburn.

"He looked in a bit of pain," manager Steve Bruce told BBC WM after the match. <yikes>

The EFL has written to Huddersfield to "request their observations regarding team selection" for Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Birmingham City.

The Terriers made 10 changes for the trip to St Andrew's having sealed a Championship play-off place, but the EFL said the result would stand.

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray later questioned Town's line-up.

Rovers, who occupy the final relegation place, are two points behind Harry Redknapp's Blues with one game to play.

The EFL said in a statement: "We have today written to Huddersfield Town to request their observations in relation to team selection during their recent Championship match with Birmingham City and, as per our regulations, the EFL executive will refer the matter to the board if it is deemed appropriate to do so.

"It should be noted, however, that the result of Saturday's game will stand in all circumstances and any potential action would be taken against Huddersfield Town directly."

WTF has it got to do with them? I thought ol' red nose established the precedent that anything goes with team selection. Or is that just for scum?
