    It's not difficult to get a holiday visa, don't get the problem??

    He managed to convince them,a few speeding tickets makes him a big time criminal.He didn't realise you don't need a prison record to get into OZ anymore.<yikes>

    Didn't go auto 'cos I declared my speedings as convictions. Now got to go through human check, which can take a month. Got a mail form them last night asking me to give dates & penalties for every speeding I've ever had, extinguished or not, and to have it notarised! As I'm flying out on Monday, it's not going to happen. Can't get the details anyway as they're extinguished. So it's fingers crossed time.

    Just thinking- perhaps I should have said I'd done a couple of ten stretches for armed robbery. I'd fit in better & sail the visa process.

    Surely you need to show the visa and passport to board the flight if you cant do the onboard one any more.
    No visa no flight?
    Just saying. <whistle>

    Who you flying with. Will see if i can find something.
    But as airlines get fined for bringing illegals in I am not sure thats right.

    Visa was done by Air New Zealand check in staff at the airport,think it was the Glory thing.

    ETA via airline is my last resort. Have a 651 (speedings declared) & 600 (speedings not declared) in the pipeline. Hopefully one of them will get approved. Otherwise it's a wait or a flight to NZ.
