You say that in jest, but I have memories of intimidating big guys in paramilitary gear, including berets & sunglasses, shaking their collecting cans under your nose with the phrase 'for the missions' growled at you. No joke. And you can guess what the missions actually were.
Not judge & jury. Yes, I acknowledge Rangers have smaller turnover, which was a surprise to me, but we should bear in mind these numbers are from when they were in the 2nd tier. You rubbish their European record, but it's miles better than ours - not to mention our individual results against them! Celtic, for instance have a 47% win rate from 188 games. Chelsea, Arsenal & scum managed 50-55%. Hardly rubbish, is it? Do we get anywhere close? Answers on a postcard ... Btw, you're the one that raised it, but failed to specify the criteria used to determine how big a club is. You still haven't, so how can we discuss the pros & cons? Remember, my position here is that I'm a Leeds fan & argue with fellow Scots who have substantial arguments on why the old firm should be considered to be bigger than us. Don't simply say 'quality of the team' as that is totally subjective & is only relevant when someone shells out money to buy your player, otherwise it's just an optimistic valuation.
Subjective or not every premiership and every championship club are playing at a higher stsndard than any clubs in the very weak scottish leagues... And as a football supporter rather than an accountant thats the real issue.
Neil what time you off... I have a crew of burglars on standby and they get paid by the hour.. Its getting expensive.... Have a great trip, and dont worry you can claim on the insurance for everything thats taken. If you keep your eyes open you will be able to buy your gear back on ebay. You get full new price from insurance and buy it back from e bay cheap and everyones a winner!
So on one of the criteria YOU set YOU were wrong... ... You can try to caveat it but what tiers do you think we have been in for over a decade. I think you need that holiday... Comeback when your debating is up to a decent standard.
Don't argue with him Chippy I know the type, a pound of lard on his hair a pencil thin moustache and a pair of two tone co-respondents shoes.
You must have met him to know that. I never argue with him. I just point I was right he and was wrong, then he sulks.
Batty boy is nearly as bad in court as cellino. http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....-former-leeds-united-md-david-haigh-1-8396460 He just needs to shut the **** up and pay up. #guilty till provan innocent
