Ross McCormack has been slated by Aston Villa after falling out with Steve Bruce – and Leeds fan have urged their club to re-sign him this month.

Bruce took the drastic measure of outing McCormack publicly for skipping training, bad time-keeping and a poor attitude.
The Villa manager also sensationally revealed that the Scotland international claimed he could not get to training because the electric gates of his mansion were faulty.

McCormack was dropped from the Villa squad that drew 2-2 against Preston on Saturday and appears increasingly likely to be heading out of the club in the final eight days of the January window.
Speculation of the Scotland international returning to Fulham has intensified in recent days, even though Villa paid a then Championship record fee of £12million to prise him from Craven Cottage only last summer.
McCormack, 30, spent four goal-laden years at Leeds from 2010 to 2014 before joining Fulham for £11million.

The Scottish attacker is fondly remembered by many fans for his Elland Road exploits, scoring 58 goals and supplying 31 assists in 157 matches for the club.

McCormack has had a disappointing campaign for Villa, scoring just three goals in 20 Championship matches, a far cry from the prolific form he consistently displayed for former clubs Fulham and Leeds.

At Craven Cottage last season, the versatile front man chipped in with 23 goals from 49 appearances, including 21 strikes and 10 assists from 45 league matches.

Would you take him back on the cheap?

Let the greedy fat **** warm the bench at villa. Besides he only agitates in the transfer window to get an improved deal or cos he has been tapped up. Newcastle need cover and thats where he is trying yo get to... Imo
Hopefully he manages it. They could be the fourth club he drags downto his bottom half championship standard...

I would rather finish 8th without him thsn 6th with him.

Ristac the reason I say we need a striker is because without Woods goals we would be around relegation zone. The next highest scorer total is 4 and we need to be able to adapt from just playing Wood on his own. Roofe was my hope for coming in from wide and alao picking up bits and pieces from Wood, but not happening. If Wood gwts injurwd and in fairness he usually does in peevious seasons, qe are goosed unless Marcus or Kemer start scoring. We dont wven have a prolific midfeilder

Actor Gorden Kaye, who was best known for his role in the long-running BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, has died aged 75.

The star's former agency confirmed to BBC News he died at a care home on Monday morning.

Kaye played cafe owner Rene Artois on the hit show, which centred on the fictional exploits of resistance fighters in World War Two in German-occupied France.

He appeared in all 84 episodes of the sitcom, as well as a stage version.

His last screen role was in a one-off return of 'Allo 'Allo in 2007, which reunited several members of the cast.

He also starred in BBC sketch show Revolver in 2004.

Doc its not another striker playing the same way as wood we need, its a plan B that gives us different options. Not sure if its the limitations of the squad or coach that mean we can only play one way.

From what I understand after the Fulham game he had a pop at Monk complaining that Viera wasn't good enough to play first team football for us.

Ross Turnbull has reportedly asked for his £10k a week contract to be cancelled, he is a free agent in the summer.

No offence to Turnbull but this is the best thing for his career there is no need for him to rot as a 3rd choice keeper

He only played the last 30 minutes of that game, it was 16th August, he was out of favour after day one.. Find it hard to believe he would say that to Monk when he is not even on the bench? Not doubting you pal, just the story?
