True enough, the takeover is not expected to get get done and dusted until mid January....

Could this effect us in the transfer market?

 

Joey Barton is to re sign for Burnley until the end of the season.

Have we missed out there?

 

TBH, I'm not sure the quality of player becomes available in January anyway.

 

There is NO takeover anywhere near an agreed status and there wont be until Cellino loses his appeal.
Even then it wont be the eytie.
It will be one of the others on the list and it wont be a consortium.
The good news is the buyer is someone known to me and I should be ok for freebie tickets!

Takeover: All those who profess to be in the know, know fook all. This is being supposed to happen for months, and Cellino paid off his debtors and bought all the shares back from GFH. I will believe it when it happens, but as far as cash for transfers goes, lets assume the TO is really true, no reason for Radrizanni not to put some cash up front now to enhance his purchase valuation and chances of the £150m pot for promotion. I do feel that Cellino will be touting Murphy, Dave and a few others who are surplus including Erwin. Cash from that will help Garry Monk

 

I was thinking we should try get kaputska from Leicester on loan. Gives us another wide option

I also heard this person / people were also directors of WACCOE.

Every time a new face turns up in the crowd people jump to conclusions. A chines guy, an Italian guy, a Frog. Come on people Leeds is a world class city with a historic team, so if a couple of tourists turn up to watch a match stop believing they are buying the club. Shaks is from Ireland and comes sometimes but fook me he aint buying the club, Eires fooking armchair wont fit in the boardroom. Once saw a can of Red Bull in a bin and assumes they were buying the club, but then I saw a carton from the Wetherby Whaler and wondered .... mmm

 

Shaks and myself could form a consortium.The ideas been touted before and were as likely to as most or all those on Matts piece of paper. Why do we need a takeover anyway, were going grand

 

Yep....
There wont be a deal until Cellino is banned (he don't want to sell unless he has to).
I know its Cellino (could change his mind) but he has told one prominent businessman that he is the prefered bidder and a price has been agreed. The deal only happens if the ban comes into force. DD has been done!
