Following Leeds 2-0 loss at the Amex Stadium, Garry Monk will be looking to patch up his team the best he can, and try to get something out of the Reading game.

Phillips will serve a one match suspension following his red card, whilst O'Kane is obviously struggling with a groin strain.

    Should Bridcutt be risked?

Berardi is just rotting on the bench, surely it's time to use him in some way, shape or form?

    What about Grimes?

    Or Antonsson?

Does anyone else think that there are too many midweek games?

    Does it dilute the excitement?

Going to be a real tricky game this with our lack of midfielders.

We obviously struggle against the best most fancied teams and compete easily with the 2nd tier like Hudders and Norwich etc, so lets hope we can do a job on Reading who Stam has got playing well.

Morning all. As with previous defeats, the important thing now is how the team bounces back. Im confident we will but this division is so unpredictable its difficult to predict anything. Wonder what Monks plans are for the players at xmas. Some managers bring them in to train xmas day which some players seem to resent, others do the give the players a day of and trust them. Doesnt always work either. Either way, were long overdue a good xmas period

Reality is that we are in the top six and got there with some of our better players missing or playing with niggles. The futures bright if Monk stays and gets the support he needs.

I thought I'd try the 'blind faith in the face of all the facts' approach. It seems to keep the Brexiwankers happy (at the moment until it all hits the fan........)

Time for Grimes to show us what Monk saw in him, as long as we don't start with Mowatt we should be okay.

Play football most Saturday's so the midweek games are very convenient for me. Also an excuse to leave work early!

So with fit midfielders thin on the ground should monk bite the bullet and think about using big Dave or Murphy. If not what plans has he got to offload them as soon as. Seems a waste of two wages if they're never going to be considered no matter what.

Was away for the weekend but watched the game on the iPad. Thought Brighton were pretty average tbh just they're consistent which you needs in this division. Thought we still gave them a game with 10 men. Don't know why players do what Phillips did on the goal line, just let the thing go in and give yourself a chance of getting back with 11 players on the pitch. Hopefully he's learned.
