    No big deal.

    The club's being sold apparently.

It'll be on the Balance Sheet.

    Don't sweat it.

Sun is first on the scene to regurgitate it. Remember when they all did it last time. Sooner or later they'll be right. Hard not to be skeptical given their form.

    So we pay 10.5 million
    For a player
    Who is not ours
    Who was not good enough
    Who is too good now
    Who we can't have
    Is that right

Imagine where we might be now if the various managers we've had had managed to get the best out of players like Alvarez, Lens, Giaccherini, and Khazri.

So much that has happened at the club over the last few years, from the drawing up of loan contracts to the perseverance with certain players, has been ****ing shoddy.

Those 4 there mate, people say we've not had quality?

Add Sessegnon, Defoe, Kirch on the rare occasions he was fit.

We've had some player we've not had the mould.

The bringing back Keane idea is really starting to appeal to me. I dunno why.

    He moulded a team.

This is so so right, the players you mention were all special talents, but for some reason do not fit in here. Alvarez had a lot to offer imo.

Keane been the only man for the job for me since Big Sam went to Palace. Right now we need a leader, a general, a force to make us stronger than we are. NO ONE else fits that criteria better than Keano

I'd not considered him until he started getting mentions, but I like it.

Anyone who's read his second book as well, it ****s on the theory he wasn't arsed or wasn't bought in, he was hooked on the club.

Keane being Keane though, would he even consider it? Work for Short? Long shot.

I don't think he would work with Short again which is a pity for us but just imagine the buzz if it did happen! Like him or not he's box office and doesn't suffer fools and we have been suffering because of fools since he left. Build a time machine and go back to when he left. You can choose who leaves him or Short. I know who I'd be keeping and who'd be for a long walk off short plank.

You know what, I would be delighted with him. Just don't let him do the ****ing contracts.
